Don’t let bad bowl predictions rain on your parade, listen to the experts at Igno Rants tell you exactly how not to choose the winner! Listen and share this week’s podcast.
Also, be sure to check out our newest sponsor, Jerlene, the auto-maided (mobile) home assistant for country folk. We’d shore appresheate a FUNNY vote on the video.
Thank you, Clemson, for not putting you overmatched opponent away. Thank you, B1G, for not having Ohio State in your title game. Both of those were great games. The SECCG, on the other hand…
Wouldn’t wish this on anyone….. https://t.co/d32txQ50Iw

Jeremy & Carey recap all the action, plus attempt to discover controversy in the CFP rankings.
Look, y’all. We’re going to be straight with you. There are some good games (on paper) scheduled for this weekend, but not the SEC Championship Game. This isn’t 2008/2009 when the Bama/Florida matchup effectively was the semifinal. More…
Somebody was feeling pretty smug about most of his Iron Bowl prediction (we’ll chalk his 30-point margin up to an excess of cheap Thanksgiving port). There’s so much to talk about, from Auburn’s inability to stop the Tide, to Alabama’s unforced errors, to Auburn’s biggest injury being coaching temperament.
Join us for a podcast of joy and excitement!
Here at the Igno Rants on College Football, each day is special….but football Saturdays are more specialer. Watching this YouTube video would make this Thanksgiving holiday the very most specialist. So as we inch closer to the Iron Bowl, let’s take an inside look at they guys on game days.
If Carey and Jeremy are arguing whether a 16-10 LSU/Florida game or Pac-12 game Colorado won by 14 was the most interesting game of the week… then it’s probably the traditional lull before the storm of Rivalry Week!
Check out our recap from this weekend’s games, and then gird up for some Iron Bowl Hatin’! Send us your best (or worst) rivalry jokes, puns, curses, traditions, etc. We promise instant karma for your team for each submission!
To get the creative juices flowing, here’s some traditional limericks (with totally accurate meter):
A certain player on the bayou who got pushy before game, then got pushed in-game:
Ol’ Lenny F. in the pregame started coach shovin’,
But was slowed like a Chick-Fil-A lunch drive in,
It really must smart,
Bless his poor heart,
That each year post-Bama he loses Heisman lovin’.
On the fate of a certain Lone Star coach:
There once was a team down in Austin,
Courted Saban as coach but he crossed ’em,
Their hiring seemed Strong,
But now everything’s wrong,
So Texas is preparing to toss him.
And, to kick off Rivalry Week:
We are ready now for some Iron Bowlin’,
Each team looking t’wards a high goal and,
Whether the Tide do win,
Or Auburn luck kicks in,
We’re both glad we don’t have Dan Mullen.
We’ve reached the long, dull Sunday afternoon of college football: that time when you know Monday is around the corner, it’s technically still the weekend, but there’s nothing good on TV and frankly everyone feels like taking a nap because they overate at the post-church trip to Bonanza.
That’s right, it’s cupcake tune-up week. Except for you, LSU/Florida. This is a Sugar Bowl play-in, potentially. Outside of that makeup game, though… WOOF!
Still, big thanks to Louisville for getting the weekend started off on a fun note, though!
This is why we love college football. And why we drink ourselves into needing an artificial liver because of college football. What more can we say? It’s all in the podcast audio (above).
We’re in the back quartile of the regular season, and the pressure is building for many teams. Will they let all that pent-up anxiety out in one ignominious game like Texas A&M, or will they have the constitution to ride the toilet for the long haul? That sentence will make much more sense after you’ve listened to this week’s GLORIOUS podcast, with special insight (it’s good, it’s so good you’re gonna love it, but we’re not gonna tell you what it is, but it’s tremendous) on:
Don’t forget to listen, like, and share!
